Ok, who doesn’t like celery with a hunk of peanut butter on it?
It was the old standby after school healthy snack, although I hated it when the strings get stuck in my teeth.
Celery starts me out every day in my breakfast green smoothie.
It grows in a bunch of ribs with delicate leaves and both can be eaten. Celery is high in natural sodium, potassium and calcium and super low in calories.
Just make sure when blending into a smoothie that you chop it up so the strands and strings don’t get wound around the blender blade.
Try it very thinly sliced horizontally for a crisp crunch in any salad.
